More Flexibility with Owner Statements and Accounting Locks
In 2024, we improved our accounting features with a focus on securing data integrity. To ensure accuracy, we introduced an automatic lock that secures accounting data 30 days after each month’s end.
For example, September’s owner statements would lock at the end of October, giving you time to review and correct any errors. Once locked, the system secures all related data, such as expenses and booking details. However, we understand that the process caused some confusion.
To resolve this, we’re temporarily suspending all locks until October 31st. Starting November 1st, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own auto-lock periods from 1 to 12 months.
Additionally, our new manual lock feature will let you lock or unlock statements whenever necessary, before the auto-lock takes effect—offering you greater flexibility and control over your accounting. A detailed tutorial is available to help you navigate these updates.
Owner Remittance Dashboard and QuickBooks/Xero Integrations
Managing owner payments just got easier! With our new QuickBooks and Xero integrations, you can now send remittance data with a single click, automating credits and debits to seamlessly sync with your preferred accounting software.
If you haven’t started using QuickBooks or Xero yet, you’re missing out on a top accounting feature for professional property managers, designed to save time and reduce manual effort.
Even for those not yet using QuickBooks or Xero, we’ve also improved the Owner Remittance Dashboard. You can now record incoming and outgoing payments directly, without needing to open each Trust Accounting report. This simplifies your workflow and reduces the potential for errors.
Concierge Profiles and Guest App Improvements
We’ve heard your feedback and introduced a new feature to improve communication between guests and your team.
Many users requested the ability to transfer guest communication to the on-site team once a booking is confirmed. Our new Concierge Manager feature allows you to assign a specific manager to each reservation, either automatically or manually. This manager’s contact details—such as name, email, and phone number—will be displayed in the Guest App.
Guests will have a direct line of communication with the right person, creating a more personalized and seamless experience during their stay.
Property Status Page Enhancements
The Property Status Page has been upgraded to give you better control and visibility over each property. It now shows both internal and external property names for easier searching, as well as displaying the Property ID number, useful when connecting 365Villas with other partners via API.
Notifications and Trip Issues for Airbnb
This feature offers enhanced visibility into any problems with your Airbnb listings. If an issue arises with a listing, such as a trip incident or a listing quality concern, an “Attention – View Errors” message will appear in the Airbnb column.
Clicking on the link will take you directly to your Airbnb account for more information, or in some cases, prompt you to contact Airbnb support to resolve the issue. This feature helps you quickly address problems to ensure your listings stay in top shape.
New SEO Flexibility for Your Property Pages
We’ve made significant updates to give you more control over your property page SEO.
Previously, metadata for your property pages was pulled directly from our system and couldn’t be edited using plugins like Yoast SEO in WordPress.
Starting November 2024, you’ll be able to update SEO details directly within 365Villas. These changes will sync automatically with the relevant property pages on your 365Villas website, giving you more control over your website’s search engine visibility without additional steps.
We recommend starting to add metadata in English and any other languages your website supports to benefit from this new integration as soon as it goes live.
