SMS Integration with 365Villas provides a smooth communication pathway to connect with your guests effectively. This guide aims to assist you in seamlessly incorporating SMS into your system, facilitating efficient sending and receiving of SMS messages.
Adding SMS to 365Villas
Prior to embarking on SMS integration, ensure you have the necessary prerequisites in place:
- Access your Account Administration.
- Navigate to “Manage bolt-ons” and select “Multi-Channel Communication“
- Click on “Add” and proceed to make any required subscription updates by scrolling down.
Initial Setup
Next to the Account Administration > SMS and WhatsApp Usage section, please adhere to the following steps:
Step1: Click to generate an SMS business number specifically for 365Villas.
Here, you can also view the SMS tariffs.
*Note: The phone number’s country code is based on the country in your master account’s profile. If necessary, you can edit the country, generate the number, and then edit the country again.
Step2: Enter the initial 1 or 2 digits representing your desired country code, then proceed by clicking “Generate.” If the provided number meets your requirements, confirm your selection. Otherwise, generate a new number until you find a suitable one.

Sending and Receiving SMS
When sending an SMS, make sure you have the guest’s phone number saved in their contact details. Then, proceed with the following steps:
Step1: Click on the SMS icon to either compose a new message or access message logs.
Step2: Upon clicking the SMS icon, a chat window will emerge in the bottom-right corner of your screen. From here, you can craft new messages, respond to existing ones, or peruse message logs.
Setting Up Automated SMS
SMS communication comes with specific limitations compared to traditional emails. To configure Automated Messages for SMS, please adhere to the following steps:
- Navigate to Communication Templates > Automated Messages.
- Locate the SMS icon, which denotes messages suitable for SMS communication.
- Open the desired message and choose the tab labelled with the SMS icon. Note that SMS messages feature simpler default text, and the text editor is not available.
- Adjust the message text as needed, customise settings according to your preferences, activate the message, and save it at the bottom of the page.
