Channel Manager | How to Verify the Status of Your Channel Manager Connections

In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of verifying the status of your Channel Manager connections. Ensuring that your channels are properly connected and synchronized is crucial for managing your listings effectively. Follow the steps below to navigate through the Channels tab and confirm the status of your connections.

Step 1: Accessing the Channels Tab under Channel Managers > Other Channels

1.1 Navigate to the “Channels” tab to view your selected channels under “My Sales Channels.”

Step 2: Completing the CONNECT and How it Works steps

2.1 If a channel is not listed under “My Sales Channels,” click on “Connect” and follow the step-by-step wizard to establish the connection.

Step 3: Verifying Channel Status

3.1 After completing the connection, check the status of the channel.
3.2 A green status indicates that properties are synchronized and live.
3.3 If the status is red, review notifications or address actions required for affected properties.

Step 4: Confirming Listings on Active Channels

4.1 For green status channels, sign in to the channel account to verify that listings are open and bookable.

4.2 Some channels may not have an Extranet; in such cases, view the public link directly from the Channel Manager by clicking on property settings, then click on the three dots next to the listing, and select the property page.

4.3 If the link leads to your listing, it’s live. If not, contact the channel to complete onboarding.

Step 5: Handling Red Status Channels

5.1 If a channel is in red status, review notifications or actions are required.

5.2 Use the filter “Action Required” in property settings to identify affected properties.

5.3 Click on the content with the action required and follow the instructions to rectify the problem.

5.4 Click on “Retry” to reconnect the property once the issue is resolved.

Step 6: Dealing with Notifications

6.1 If the message is just a notification, read it carefully; it won’t affect your listings’ status.

6.2 Click on “Clear Notification” if necessary.
6.3 For errors, contact the support team for assistance.
