Before your start
There may be different reasons to delete a property. It could have been a test property, or you may have sold it or the property owner may have chosen another property manager. Before proceeding, it is important to remember that once a property is deleted, all related information will be completely erased from your account. If you need that information for accounting purposes, make sure you download it from 365Villas before deleting the property.
Deleting a property
In order to delete a property, please follow these steps:
- Block your availability calendar for all future dates
- Disconnect the property from all channels in the channel manager page (the example below is taken from Airbnb. You can decide if to unlist the property or simply to stop the sync, depending on your need).
- Go to Property Features>> Property Settings>> Property Profile>> Scroll down to the bottom of the page you will have a call to action button “Delete Property”, as indicated in the screenshots.
- If needed, delete the property from the channels, by logging into each channel.
What if you cancel a property by mistake?
If you cancel a property by mistake, you will have 7 days to restore it. This can be done under Portfolio Manager >>Restore Deleted Properties. After that period, our IT team may still be able to access the data. Requesting this task entails a fee of 50 USD per property.
